| FLATNESS (8) Definition: (business) The situation of being not very successful because very little is being sold. ______________________________________________________________________ * All eleven elements would be in. 1. Not desired, even if forecasted or forseen. 2. Quality of item - product or service - is excellent. 3. Aggressive marketing and publicity is being done. 4. No trace of a sabotage being committed by rivals/competitors, salespersons/marketers, etc. is seen/suspected. 5. Pricing method and selling price is normal. 6. Location is right, yet ..., no patronage. 7. Financial loss is enormous in the situation. 8. No legal, trade or official barriers to make success unattainable. 9. All strategies taught in 'business school' have been adopted and these have not achieved improvement in sales. 10. A reason or reasons exists for poor sales, though this/these cannot be immediately fathomed (connect to #11). 11. (Reserved.) (Product sales can or will pick up under the right conditions.
