| FLATNESS (2) Definition: (of land) The condition of being without any slopes or hills. ______________________________________________________________________ * All six elements would be in. 1. No temporary structure on, and nothing is deposited thereon, especially by the forces of nature, that can create a resemblance of a 'slope' or 'hill'. 2. It is desired that land be plain and bare (connect to #3). 3. No loss arises as a direct result of the level of surface. That is, land is safe and can still be used for purpose(s) intended. 4. Extent or measurement of plain, open land is to a degree desired. 5. Nothing under the ground (= land) known or unknown, which can cause a sudden dramatic change in the level of land surface. 6.
