Definition: (of tyre) A lack of sufficient air, usually because of a hole.

1. Tyre is not in 'active service'. That is, vehicle, motorcycle, etc. is in a static position; still, not in motion.

2. Hole is not oversize - not too big to effectively render tyre permanently useless or unusable.

3. Hole (or holes) can be patched within a reasonable time or as quickly as necessary.

4. Rim of tyre or car as a whole is not damaged or put at a risk as a result of the state of tyre.

5. Repair that will be made on hole or holes can or will lasts for distance required.

6. A loss, no matter how little, will arise from lack of air.
