| FLASHPOINT Definition: A situation or place in which violence or anger starts and cannot be controlled. ______________________________________________________________________ * All eight elements would be in. 1. Situation or place is specific and identifiable. And the 'dramatis personae' are also known and/or recognizable. 2. Place is not a no-go area (connect to #5). 3. Cause(s) of violence or anger is/are known. 4. Violence will result in a destruction of the environment and/or a damage to property, not in a loss of human lives (to emphasize). 5. There will be an involvement or a presence of fully armed security agents in the situation or place. 6. Situation is not strictly a catch-22 or an impasse. That is, the authority or law enforcers and the participants in orgy of violence know exactly what to do to quell or stop disturbance, only that they are restrained or handicapped from taking the appropriate action(s). 7. Lasts or exists for a period, until the event simmers down. 8.
