Purposeful (to emphasize). 2. Market forces are at play, or economic indices are not manipulated to confer an advantage, albeit temporarily on the higher element. 3. Position occupied that gives an edge is based on a solid premise - political stability, economic prosperity, military superiority, etc. 4. Foreign reserves, regional alliances, etc. are present to cushion the sudden fluctuations or distortions that may arise in an emergency situation (= foreign exchange/currency market, international skirmishes, etc.). 5. Strength remains or subsists for period desired or planned for. 6.
