| FIRE DRILL Definitions: i. (British English) A practice of what people must do in order to escape safely from a fire in a building. ii. When there is a fire drill in a particular building, the people who work or live there practise what to do if there is a fire. ______________________________________________________________________ * All six elements should be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary. (See definition, to emphasize.) 2. All employees, including the members of 'management', residents, some 'actor-visitors' will participate fully in the 'rehearsal'. 3. Practice and practise will be properly conducted or organized, and also very detailed or comprehensive. And takes place timely without a loss/damage being suffered by the people/building involved. 4. Takes place in the particular building where fire may be expected. 5. The substances or tools, devices or equipment to aid a 'fight' such as fire-retardants, fire extinguishers, etc. will be confirmed to be in serviceable condition and/or tested for functionality. 6. Activity achieves goal(s), in 'preparation' for fire. That is, in case of a fire, no single human or animal life in building will be lost as a result of the panic or confusion that will arise therefrom. _______________________________ * IMAGINE.
