| FIRE BRIGADE Definition: (British English) An organization of people who are trained and employed to put out fires and to rescue people from fires; the people who belong to this organization. ______________________________________________________________________ * All eight elements should be in. 1. Purposeful [see perfect ORGANIZATION (1).]. 2. Necessary to have department [see perfect FIRE (2).]. 3. Equipped adequately [see perfect EQUIPMENT (2).]. 4. Adequately staffed. That is, employees in the service are qualified, properly trained and in right numbers (see perfect EMPLOYEE ENGAGEMENT). 5. Firefighters are efficient and effective. That is, they get to danger zone(s) timely and put out fires and rescue people promptly, if applicable [see perfect MOTIVATION (1).]. 6. No unplanned loss occurs to the firefighters as a result of firefighting or from related activities [see perfect RESCUE (1).]. 7. No serious damage or destruction is suffered by the environment, equipment, facilities, etc., or the public, as a direct outcome of fire containment strategies (see perfect QUEUE-JUMPING). 8.
