| APTITUDE TEST Definitions: i. A test designed to show whether somebody has the natural ability for a particular job or course of education. ii. An aptitude test is a test that is specially designed to find out how easily and how well you can do something. ______________________________________________________________________ * All ten elements should be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary to check a suitability or otherwise. 2. The parameters, especially concerning the time allowed and tools usable, if any, will be understood by you or by who is being tested. 3. The question(s) and/or instruction(s) will be clear and correct. 4. There will be no requirement, in the test, to consult someone else. 5. Details will be directly connected with the subject for which the possession of an ability is being 'investigated'. (connect to #6). 6. Answer(s) provided will be given honestly by who is being tested. 7. Gives no serious clue or contains no hint to make task much easier. 8. Who is being tested will be in a normal frame of mind at the time. 9. The result(s) or deduction(s) from the answer(s) or response(s) provided, will be conclusive: 'can do well' or 'will not do well'. 10. A marking scheme and/or the person assessing and grading will not make a mistake that will result in a misjudgement about the ability of the 'candidate' being tested.
