A chemical change accompanied by the emission of heat and light, and often flame, usually a change consisting in the combination of carbon compounds with the oxygen of the air. iii. Specific and identifiable, whether source is known (= seen) or unknown (= unseen). 3. Measurable and/or assessable, raging or not! 4. Manageable. That is, its intensity can be controlled; if necessary, can be put out, reduced or increased, as desired. Or its spread can be curtailed. 5. Left to be on for duration required to help achieve objective(s). 6. Causes no unplanned loss, even if it results in a great destruction and/or damage! That is, never gets out of control!! 7.
