FINANCIAL AID

Definition: (North American English) Money that is given or lent to students at a university or college who cannot pay the full cost of their education.

1. Purposeful and necessary.

2. Applied or requested for by student(s).

3. Student(s) is/are truly indigent.

4. Amount is adequate as determined by the university or college authority - not by student(s)/parent(s)/guardian(s)/sponsor(s).

5. Money is received timely (to emphasize).

6. Money is not diverted to a non-educational pursuit.

7. Student does not flunk his or her examinations. And will also graduate with good enough grades. That is, the loan will fully serve its sole purpose!

8. No default on loan. That is, sum will be repaid as in the (an) agreement. And assistance will be acknowledged happily.
