| FIGHT (1) Definition: [ ~ (with somebody/something)/ ~ (between A and B) ] A struggle against somebody/something using physical force. ______________________________________________________________________ * All twelve elements would be in. 1. Purposeful, especially for the initiator of struggle, even if believed uncalled for by the opponent. 2. Cause or basis exists and is known. That is, there is specific and identifiable reason(s) for the struggle. 3. Opponent is the right party - no case of a mistaken identity. 4. Dialogue, discussion, agreement, etc. would not or could not make struggle inevitable. 5. No formal rules apply to guide the exchange of blows, kicks, bites, hits, knocks, headbutts, push, etc. That is, no limit to the intensity of force that is allowed/usable during the struggle. 6. The opponent participates. That is, person/thing is not a sitting duck! (To emphasize, see definition.) 7. No third party involvement in the struggle. And no 'referee'! 8. Force applied by either or both fighters is not aided by a performance-enhancing drug. 9. Will end at a point in time - lost, won or drawn, with or without an 'umpire' - whatever the duration. 10. A loss of resources, dignity or respect, time, physical injury, etc. occurs to participant(s) in the struggle. 11. Struggle is never regretted, with or without an apology, or making up, or renewal of hostilities, whatever price is paid. 12.
