| FESTSCHRIFT Definitions: i. (from German) A collection of articles published in honor of a scholar. ii. A volume of articles, essays, etc., in honor of a colleague, usually published on the occasion of retirement, an important anniversary, or the like. ______________________________________________________________________ * All nine elements should be in. 1. Deemed purposeful and necessary by compiler/publisher. 2. Quality of writing will be top grade - worth reading. 3. The retirement was after meritorious service, an anniversary is truly deserves celebrating, etc. 4. Numbers of articles or write-ups will be enough or adequate in the opinion of whoever readers will be. 5. Released while scholar/who is being honored is alive. 6. Print quality will be excellent. That is, readability will not be an issue on the release of publication. 7. Contents of articles, essays, etc. will not be some rehash. That is, not previously read and not plagiarized. 8. Price of publication will be affordable for buyer(s). 9. Serves purpose(s), achieves objective(s) as hoped for. ________________ IN HONOR ? WELL DONE. | |
