Purposeful and necessary for its supporters and proponents. 2. The girl-child is given equal access to the same educational and vocational foundation/training as the boy-child. 3. The performance or eligibility yardsticks for a post or position must, on no account, be discriminatory on the basis of gender. 5. There must be no bias, bigotry, racism, etc. on the part of the persons - assessors, examiners, interviewers, etc. - directly responsible for deciding selection, admission, etc. That is, playing field must be level for all applicants and/or performers! 6. Belief and aim are backed or supported by appropriate legislation. That is, empowerment, salary equality, etc. must have a legal basis. 7. Rights (or privileges) and opportunities (or responsibilities) involved are specific and identifiable. 8. Belief and aim are timeless or everlasting. 9.
