______________________________________________________________________

* All eight elements would be in.

1. Purposeful and necessary, in the opinion of person dispensing selective treatment.

2. Beneficiary of generous treatment is deserving of special attention, with or without a justification! (Connect to #1.)

3. The other person(s) or group(s) are seemingly equal or same in terms of qualification, eligibility, status, etc.

4. The person or group that is unfairly treated or that is treated less will protest, complain, 'scream', etc.

5. Recipient of generosity takes advantage of the 'extra' to have an edge over the other person or group. That is, the preferential treatment that is enjoyed does not turn out meaningless.

6. No remedial action or corrective measure will be taken in respect of complaints, protests, etc.

7. There will be no explanation for the special treatment that is given to one and not the other. And never an excuse or apology!

8. Treatment does not 'choke' the beneficiary. That is, no unplanned loss arises, from the situation, for who gets treated specially.
