| FARMER'S MARKET Definitions: i. A place where farmers sell food directly to the public. ii. A market where food growers sell their produce directly to the public. ______________________________________________________________________ * All ten elements should be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary to have particular place. 2. Specific and identifiable - and place is not a farm. 3. Measurable and/or assessable - and large enough for all. 4. Easily reachable or accessible, especially for bargain hunters. 5. Safe, secured and protected - especially while being used. 6. Produce available will be of the best quality, fresh as can be. 7. The buyers will not turn out to be wholesalers. (Connect to #8.) 8. Demand of buyers will be met. That is, quantities of food available in market will be adequate for the prospective buyers. 9. Prices in place will be determined by market forces in a free market. That is, it's neither a seller's market nor a buyer's market. (To emphasize.) 10.
