| FANCY DRESS Definition: (British English) Clothes that you wear, especially at parties, to make you appear to be a different character. ______________________________________________________________________ * All eight elements should be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary to be different. 2. Clothes are of your own choosing, comfortable or discomforting, fitting or ill-fitting, colourful or uncolourful! 3. Clean and neat, unless the character that is desired to be portrayed is a dirty, filthy one. 4. 'Complete', that is, clothes will reveal none of your unique personal features. 5. You get treated at the event as the character you dressed up as. 6. No unplanned loss occurs as a direct outcome of clothes put on. That is, you have no regret from the type of clothes worn. 7. Clothes are owned or worn with the permission of its owner(s), if it or they is/are not yours. 8.
