| FANCY (2) Definition: A feeling that you would like to have or to do something. ______________________________________________________________________ * All nine elements would be in. 1. Feeling is had while in a proper frame of mind or the right senses, not experienced while groggy, intoxicated, having a relapse, etc. (connect to #2). 2. Thing desired will be specific and identifiable. And wish will ordinarily be lawful and considered as safe, proper, beneficial, etc. if thing is had or done on time and/or promptly. 3. What is wished for is not something that is strictly restricted, controlled or banned by a law, rule or regulation. And thing is not what was fantasized a lot about earlier!, but yet to be 'realized'. 4. Measure or extent of feeling will not be extreme. And the time spent on 'dream' will be considered reasonable (connect to #6). 5. The wherewithal or capability and ability to obtain or do thing, if required, will be present or can be produced or provided, when a chance arises or if wishes were to turn to horses. 6. No concrete or serious action will or can be taken as a consequence of feeling (to emphasize). 7. Feeling is not 'transferable' and cannot be shared. That is, no other person can be asked to have or do thing such that who has feeling gets a fulfilment or satisfaction therefrom. 8. Feeling lasts for a specific and identifiable duration before it dies a natural death, or before it passes or flies away, especially if to return another time/day. That is, there will be some 'sustained consistency' in demand or wish for particular thing. 9. Brings no unplanned loss to who has feeling. That is, where an attempt or a dare, a trial or comment, etc. is made regarding the particular thing wished for, the efforts involved will not be regretted later. ______________________________________________ ...
