FALSE MEMORY

Definition: (psychology) A memory of something that did not actually happen.

1. Image recalled is vivid and present still, at particular period.

2. What is imagined is complete. That is, recollection leaves no unanswered question(s) concerning the happening.

3. What is remembered won't disappear and/or won't be forgotten.

4. Had or possessed in a fully conscious state, not while hallucinating or in a reverie, trance, etc.

5. Lasts for appropriate duration, as long as evidence to prove otherwise is not provided (connect to #6).

6. Memory will be proved eventually to be a lie, as no confirmation to support its truth, existence or reality will be made available.
