| FALLING-OUT Definition: (informal) A situation where people are no longer friends, caused by a disagreement or an argument. ______________________________________________________________________ * All eight elements should be in. 1. Purposeful for the persons involved. 2. Considered a necessity by former friends to go separate ways. 3. Cause or basis is specific and identifiable by all the parties that had disagreement or argument. 4. All avenues or options to resolve the differences were explored, though these turned out unsuccessful. 5. No third party - spouse(s), colleague(s), offspring(s), etc. - who is not directly involved in or with the issue(s), is brought into the unfortunate situation. 6. Lasts for a period of time considered appropriate or reasonable, before ever-ready time heals the wound. 7. A possibility exists in the situation for a reconciliation, a making-up or for getting back together. 8. (Reserved.)
