| FAIT ACCOMPLI (1) Definitions: i. (from French) Something that has already happened or been done and that you cannot change. ii. (formal) If something is a fait accompli, it has already been decided or done and cannot be changed. ______________________________________________________________________ * All six elements would be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary for thing to have happened, or to have been done, or for decision to be made - liked or loved, disliked or hated. (See perfect HAPPENING (1).) 2. What happened, or past action, or decision taken was specific and identifiable - beneficial or not, i.e., positive or negative. (See perfect EVENT (1).) 3. What was happening or had happened, action taken, or decision made was measurable or assessable - good or bad. (See perfect LEVEL (2).) 4. Outcome, output, etc. would be conclusive and certain. Or expected fallout, side-effect, etc. of happening, or action, or decision would be sure - complex or not. (See perfect END RESULT.) 5. Happening, or action, or decision would be of an irreversible nature, or impossible to revert, or needing execution - early or late. (See perfect IMMUTABILITY.) 6. Time or resources would or should not be spent or wasted on a fast or in prayer, on an appeal to a higher court, pleading or begging, etc. - ridiculous or serious thing.
