FAIT ACCOMPLI (1)

Definitions:

i. (from French) Something that has already happened or been done and that you cannot change.

ii. (formal) If something is a fait accompli, it has already been decided or done and cannot be changed.

1. Purposeful and necessary for thing to have happened, or to have been done, or for decision to be made - liked or loved, disliked or hated. (See perfect HAPPENING (1).)

2. What happened, or past action, or decision taken was specific and identifiable - beneficial or not, i.e., positive or negative. (See perfect EVENT (1).)

3. What was happening or had happened, action taken, or decision made was measurable or assessable - good or bad. (See perfect LEVEL (2).)

4. Outcome, output, etc. would be conclusive and certain. Or expected fallout, side-effect, etc. of happening, or action, or decision would be sure - complex or not. (See perfect END RESULT.)

5. Happening, or action, or decision would be of an irreversible nature, or impossible to revert, or needing execution - early or late. (See perfect IMMUTABILITY.)

6. Time or resources would or should not be spent or wasted on a fast or in prayer, on an appeal to a higher court, pleading or begging, etc. - ridiculous or serious thing. (See perfect IMPOSSIBILITY (1).)
