| FAIR (1) Definition: A type of entertainment in a field or park at which people can ride on large machines and play games to win prizes. ______________________________________________________________________ * All nine elements should be in. 1. Purposeful and considered necessary. 2. Ground is appropriate in terms of size, location, ambience, accessibility, etc. 3. Arrangements, organization, etc. in place is excellent. That is, place is well-run or managed. 4. Well-equipped with a wide and complete range of machines, etc. 5. Place is clean, neat and tidy. 6. Secured, safe and protected to have fun in. That is, in, near or around a field or park, that is free of danger for fun seekers. 7. Entertainment is affordable. That is, entrance fee, if any, is not outrageous for the majority of people in the vicinity. 8. Prices on offer are worthwhile and machines are not ones that will malfunction while in use.
