| APPEAL TRIBUNAL Definition: An appeal tribunal is a special court or committee that is formed to reconsider a decision made by another court or committee. ______________________________________________________________________ * All nine elements should be in. 1. Purposeful and considered necessary by who approves setting up. 2. Has a legal, traditional or official authority, as applicable. 3. Will be given the wherewithal - briefing, notes, evidence, etc. 4. Members are believed to be superior to those of the other court. 5. No member of tribunal would have been a part of 'first' committee. 6. Activities will be concluded in good time and at a reasonable cost. 7. Review or re-examination will result in something new or different. 8. It's finding will not be subject to review by a higher authority. 9.
