| FACT OF LIFE (2) Definition: (usually plural) If you tell a child about the facts of life, you tell him or her about sexual intercourse and how babies are born. ______________________________________________________________________ * All nine elements should be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary to have talk with the 'innocent' child. 2. (Reserved.) (Child should be asked if he or she is ready for talk!) 3. Discussion or conversation takes place one-to-one or tete-a-tete. 4. Honest and sincere, however difficult or embarrassing it may seem. 5. No practical and/or demonstration will be involved (to emphasize). 6. All questions must be answered to the best of the adult's ability. 7. Understanding should be enhanced with a pictorial account, etc. 8. 'Sermonization' occurs at the right time (age) and place (location). 9.
