| FACE VALUE (1) Definitions: i. The value of a stamp, coin, ticket, etc. that is shown on the front of it. ii. Apparent worth, reliability, etc. in the absence of other information. ______________________________________________________________________ * All six elements would be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary to use exact amount (= value). 2. Clearly printed, engraved, etc. and therefore readable. Or the relevant elements are transparent and clear. 3. Correctly printed/type/engraved (or assessed), without errors in figures and words (no mistake in contents and character). That is, value is specific and identifiable. 4. Accepted or exchanged (treated and related with) for same amount stated; not negotiable (no immediate review). 5. There is economic stability in the system, to guarantee that currency exchange rate is not in a disequilibrium. That is, inflation, etc. will not be so pronounced as to affect the value (= worth) of stamp, coin, ticket, etc. 6.
