| FACE TIME Definition: (North American English, informal) Time that you spend talking in person to people you work with, rather than speaking on the phone or sending emails. ______________________________________________________________________ * All eight elements would be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary to communicate in this way. 2. Believed that it is more effective to communicate face-to-face. 3. People being talked to are in their proper frame of minds at the time and are therefore adequately attentive and appropriately responsive, where required. 4. Thing or things being talked about, that would have been said on phone or sent through email, is/are the priority issue(s). 5. Speech does not include a practical demonstration. 6. Lasts for an appropriate period of time. That is, speech does not include a digression, tautology, etc. In other words, time spent is not wasteful or excessive. 7. No reminders are sent after talk, through a call or an email, in respect of what had been discussed. 8. Talk achieves the exact and timely result(s) desired. ______________________ ...
