| EYESORE Definition: A building, an object, etc. that is unpleasant to look at. ______________________________________________________________________ * All six elements would be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary for building, object, etc. to still be standing or existing. 2. Cannot be 'avoided'. That is, structure or thing is on the line of sight. In other words, once the eyes are open, and looking in a desired direction, it (= 'sore') must be seen! 3. Looking lasts for only a short duration, unless 'sore' is being studied for a project, an examination, research, etc. 4. Sighting or viewing does not ordinarily cause a problem for viewer. That is, no real danger or worry from the derelict state of building, object, etc. 5. Structure or item serves purpose(s) in derelict state, for period that structure, object, etc. exists.
