Definition: (North American English) Two lenses in a frame that rests on the nose and ears. People wear glasses in order to be able to see better or to protect their eyes from bright light.

6. Lens are securely fixed on frames - no likelihood of falling off.

7. Comfortable to wear. That is, rests on the nose and ears without discomfort.

8. Serves purpose(s), without causing a strain to the eyes! That is strength of lens, at any particular time, is appropriate for the wearer's eyes. In other words, not due for an urgent or immediate change/replacement (connect to #3).
