Extradition
EXTRADITION

Definition: The act of officially sending back somebody, who has been accused or found guilty of a crime, to the country where the crime was committed.

* All nine elements should be in.


1. Purposeful and necessary.

2. The government of country to receive accused will be contacted.

3. All legal obligations and/or processes are fulfilled.

4. Means of transportation is okay. That is, person will not arrive in destination in a worsened health condition that may make the realization of objective(s) impossible or difficult.

5. Act is performed timely, not when the accused or 'guilty' is on or approaching death throes (connect to #4).

6. Justice is obtainable or obtained in country sent to. That is, trial will be excellent, for an accused, or punishment will be fair, for the guilty.

7. Basis of allegation/suspicion, on which person is extradited, and on which judgement/ruling will be eventually based will be impeccable.

8. Cost of transportation, and other expenses that may arise, will be borne by the government(s), not by the accused!

9. Return to particular country achieves objective(s).
