EXPROPRIATION (2)

Definition: (formal) The act of taking somebody's property and using it without permission.

1. Purposeful - the use.

2. Considered a necessity by the taker and user, not to secure an authorization.

3. The person (= owner), to whom a request to take and use property should be made, is available and/or reachable.

4. A certainty, not a suspicion, exists that authorization will not be granted, by the owner(s). (To emphasize.)

5. Thing taken and used without permission serves purpose(s). That is, 'stolen' equipment, tool, structure, etc. will be useful.

6. The item or object taken is returned timely and in good order - after the (proper) use!

7. Owner is aware that property is unlawfully taken, whether this is protested against or not.

8. No sanction is suffered by the 'thief' (connect to #7 & #10).

9. Unavailability of property for specific period of time results in a loss for the owner(s).

10. An apology, not an excuse or reason, is given, directly to the owner(s), on return of property.
