| EXPRESSION (4) Definition: A strong show of feeling when you are playing music, speaking, acting, etc. ______________________________________________________________________ * All ten elements should be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary. 2. Required, demanded or ordered by the audience, a conductor, an expression mark, etc. Or arises out of a natural tendency. 3. No unplanned loss arises for the performer as a result of increased tempo of feeling. 6. Display lasts for an appropriate period of time. 7. No damage, destruction etc. occurs to the equipment, instrument, stage, etc. as a direct result of the additional strength put into show. 8. Act improves the quality of playing, speech, acting.
