| EXPLOITATION (1) Definition: (disapproving) A situation in which somebody treats somebody else in an unfair way, especially in order to make money from their work. ______________________________________________________________________ * All eight elements would be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary for exploiter. 2. Nothing vital or important is contributed by cheat. 3. Impression given before and during act does not reveal real intention. 4. Loss is enormous for the person treated unfairly or cheated. 5. What dupe gets from work is 'peanuts'. 6. Treatment does not include any form of direct physical contact (= maltreatment) between the parties. 7. Money made is significant and worth the efforts involved. That is, act achieves objective(s) for the exploiter. 8. Situation is never publicly admitted.
