| EXPENSE (4) Definition: (usually - expenses) Money that you spend while you are working that your employer will pay back to you later. ______________________________________________________________________ * All eight elements should be in. 1. Approval or authorization was obtained, even if only 'in principle', before you spent money. 2. Limit on the amount or estimate on maximum allowable to be spent is known by you (connect to #1). 3. Money spent, especially if it's paper money, is not fake (while collecting genuine notes in return, from employer!). 4. Expenditure was on the most profitable item(s) or on the best quality available (unless the directives was to spend money on a cheapo or fake!). 5. Claim submitted is correct. That is, no cheating in documentation after purchases or buy. In other words, no dishonesty, embezzlement, etc. is involved in the process (to emphasize). 6. Approval to be paid back money is not given by spender (= you!). (To emphasize, connect to #8.) 7. Claim is submitted and settled timely. 8.
