| EXPENDITURE (1) Definition: The act of spending or using money; an amount of money spent. ______________________________________________________________________ * All nine elements should be in. * This is not on the amount used. 1. The necessity to spend is determined. 2. Purpose(s) for which spending is to be made is/are established. 3. Approval or authorization, where required, on quantum, product or service, etc. to spend money on, is obtained. 4. Prioritization has been made. That is, the available options on what money can be spent on have been examined (connect to #2). 5. Recognition or 'certification' of choice is faultless and confirmed as error-free! (Connect to #3, to emphasize.) 6. Approach and dealing, by way of discussion, bargaining, testing, evaluation, etc. are satisfactorily done. 7. An offer of what is desired to be spent (= payment) is made to seller or service provider. 8. (On acceptance of offer) exchange - payment, confirmation, documentation, collection, etc. - takes place fully and timely. 9. Not regretted. That is, an unplanned loss will not be discovered afterwards and no buyer's remorse will arise from transaction.
