EXPEDIENCY (1)

Definition: An occasion or a situation when it is necessary to take an action that is useful or necessary for a particular purpose, but that is not always fair or right.

1. Purposeful and necessary (see definition, to reemphasize).

2. All fair and right efforts and options have been put in and explored and discovered as not going to produced desired outcome.

3. Action is not an illegality or immorality. (But there is an awareness that it is unfair and not-so-right.)

4. Additional or extra time is not available to be used to try to adopt methods or approaches that will be considered to be fair and right (connect to #2).

5. (Reserved.) (People, organizations, institutions, etc., if any, that will be affected by not very fair or right action are informed about the expedient nature of an impending act.)

6. Action is taken timely to help achieve goal(s).

7. Result obtained is exactly what is desired or hoped for. That is, very fair and right action would have provided the same outcome.

8. No unplanned loss, damage, injury, etc. is suffered as a direct result of method being neither unfair nor right.
