| APOLOGY (1) Definitions: i. [ ~ (to somebody) (for something) ] A word or statement saying sorry for something that has been done wrong or that causes a problem. ii. An expression of regret for wrongdoing. ____________________________________________________________________ * All eight elements above the line should be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary. 2. Not forced or coerced, but truly self-volunteered. 3. Timely made, when it can help to achieve the purpose(s). 4. Clearly said/written/indicated directly to whom it is meant. 6. Meant - what is said/written/indicated; and backed-up, as soon as an opportunity arises, by real practical act or action to confirm penitence. 7.
