Purposeful and necessary. That is, it would have been decided from the beginning to be away or abstain for a considerable duration. 2. Intention or desire while absent will be to benefit from being 'far and away', and to end up extending same to the loved ones. 3. No person or endeavour will replace folks or the place or activity left behind. That is, home or former place or activity will be missed. 4. An active or 'live' contact will not be maintained with those left behind, during the period. And no monitoring of events back home. 5. There will be a plan, in place, to return home or to old place or activity at the end of sojourn or abstinence (to emphasize). 6. Stay and doings in host country will be lawful and ennobling.
