| EXILE (1) Definition: The state of being sent to live in another country that is not your own, especially for political reasons or as a punishment. ______________________________________________________________________ * All nine elements should be in. 1. Purposeful - the punishment. And right. 2. Necessary to send 'trouble' (= you!) away. 3. Government or authority is not illegitimate or illegal. 4. Allegation that resulted in act was conclusively proven. 5. Sending away is organized, not rushed. That is, person being exiled is allowed to go away with loved family members, if any, prized possessions, all legitimate funds, other assets, etc. 6. Country sent to is not the preferred (?) choice of the person exiled (to emphasize). 7. Duration is appropriate in the opinion of the person being punished (connect to #9). 8. Sending away achieves its objective(s). That is, exiled person is not able to influence activities, or exercise any form of authority, in the country sent away from, while he or she is outside. 9.
