| EXERCISE BOOK (1) Definition: (British English) A small book for students to write their work in. ______________________________________________________________________ * All eight elements should be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary. 2. Approved or authorized to be used for work (= homework, test, etc.) by school authority. 3. Has nothing printed on front or back cover or its inside pages, that will cause a distraction for serious student. 4. Pages are blank and neat, at least, before use. 5. The number of pages and pagination is adequate (sufficient) and complete (accurate). That is, smallness or size is appropriate. 6. Paper quality and colour is right, as determined by school authority. 7. Well-bounded, that is, its sheets will not ordinarily 'fall off'. 8.
