| EXCOMMUNICATION Definition: The punishment of being expelled as a member of a Christian Church, especially the Roman Catholic Church. ______________________________________________________________________ * All nine elements should be in. 1. Purposeful for the authority expelling member(s). 2. Considered appropriate to expel person(s). 3. Effected within the rules of the Church. That is, the processes and procedures that can earn an expulsion are duly and strictly adhered to before dismissal is made final. 4. No tithe, donation or contribution, etc. is accepted afterwards from expelled member(s) by Reverend father, etc. 5. No Christian ceremony - christening, baptism, etc. - is performed for this excommunicated person outside the Church premises or its jurisdiction! 6. The possibility to be readmitted into the Church exists, though the condition(s) for readmission is/are or will be stringent. 7.
