| EXCLUSIVENESS (2) Definition: (of a group, society, etc.) The situation of being not very willing to allow new people to become members, especially if they are from a lower class. ______________________________________________________________________ * All seven elements would be in. 1. Purposeful and considered necessary, by those in, to shut some others out. 2. No law is flouted by the arrangement. That is, cannot be protested against or successfully challenged by the outsiders. 3. Expected benefits of membership cannot be obtained elsewhere, in another group, by those not permitted to join society, etc. 4. Outsiders are desirous of joining group, etc. 5. Eligibility rules for membership is very clear. 6. Group, society, etc. has not reached the limit in its membership. And no valid reason can be provided for disallowing prospective members.
