Definition: [ ~ (of something) ] The act of deciding that something is not possible.

1. Purposeful and necessary.

2. Decision-making is thorough and completed. That is, every likelihood, tendency, probability, elimination process, etc. has been taken into consideration.

3. No provision is made for the efficacy or effectiveness of prayer or the (surprise) occurrence of a miracle.

4. Support, material, assistance, etc. that may be required or necessary to make thing possible are not unattainable. And could have been explored or exploited. Or are possessed (connect to #5).

5. Maximum capability or ability of what or who can make a thing possible is known and has been estimated as inadequate to convert to the efforts needed and that can be applied to attain target.

6. Act has an end result, be this the choice of an alternative or a miserable resignation to fate. That is, act serves purpose(s) or achieves objective(s).
