| EXACERBATION Definition: The act or process of making something worse, especially a disease or a problem: embitterment. ______________________________________________________________________ * All six elements would be in. 1. Not deliberately planned act or process to make matters worse. And completely unnecessary (purposeless). 2. Thing would not ordinarily get 'badder', if it was left alone or on its own (unsolicited). 3. Remedy, prescription, suggested solution, etc. to avoid situation is provided or available, but this is ignored or not obeyed (boo!). 4. Decline or deterioration cannot be arrested or stopped. And rate or speed of decline, decrease, etc. is worrisome (panicky). 5. Loss or losses that arise in the situation is/are enormous for the person(s) involved ('grace to grass'). 6.
