| EVANGELISM Definition: The practice of travelling round the country, holding religious meetings or speaking on radio or television, with the sole purpose of trying to convert people to Christianity: evangelising: evangelicalism. ______________________________________________________________________ * All eleven elements should be in. 1. Purposeful and considered necessary for 'preacherman'. 2. Person involved has the resources to sustain self throughout the period - does not use it as a platform to raise funds for personal survival. 3. Never tired or discouraged, especially when threatened with physical attack by adherents of other faiths, atheists, etc. 4. Preacher never renounces faith (Christianity), no matter the risk or danger faced during journeys (connect #3). 5. Preacher always leaves a mark wherever he or she goes - delivers unforgettable sermons, leaves powerful messages/tracts, performs real miracles, etc., as applicable (connect to #6). 6. Talks, speeches, actions, etc. are convincingly delivered or performed, therefore some converts are won by evangelist(s). 7. Does not involve the condemnation of another or other religions or belief(s) (to emphasize). And preacher never claims to know or proffer a solution to all life's problems or challenges. 8. Conducted in the right places, where person(s) or people needing persuasion or conversion abound. 9. Evangelist does not break the law while on the road. And does not sin while on the wheels or cause an accident that will disrupt pace of work. 10. Believes. That is, evangelist knows the truth of and practices the tenets of Christianity. 11.
