| EULOGY (1) Definition: [ ~ (of/to somebody/something) ] A speech or piece of writing praising somebody/something very much. ______________________________________________________________________ * All nine elements would be in. 1. Purposeful in the opinion of speaker or writer. 2. Considered a necessity to praise effusively. 3. What has earned the praise is confirmed as completed or concluded. 4. Person is truly deserving. That is, accomplishment, etc. is/was not fraudulently earned (To emphasize.) 5. Achievement(s), accomplishment(s), etc. is/are specifically mentioned in the speech or writing. 6. Duration of speech or length of writing does not turn event or action to a bore or an annoyance. That is, talk or notes takes appropriate time or space. 7. Not written by the subject of the praise. And not with a direct specific input from him or her! 8. Speech or writing achieves objective(s). 9. What is said or written spurs the person praised to achieve more.
