| ETHNIC CLEANSING Definition: (used especially in news report) The policy of forcing the people of a particular race or religion to leave an area or a country. ______________________________________________________________________ * All ten elements would be in. 1. Purposeful and considered necessary for the executors (= racists!). 2. No deaths or permanent disability occur during forced movements. 3. Personal possessions of the people being ejected are allowed to be moved by the 'enforcers'. 4. People being sent away are not the original owners/dwellers in area or country (to emphasize). 5. 'Cleansers' are not any better as human beings: they only take advantage of the control of more deadly weapons of violence, majority strength or population, etc. 6. Hate that is inevitably sown by forceful ejection will pass from generation to generation - even if or after policy is reversed and a 'reintegration' is achieved (connect to #7). 7. Use of force achieves objective(s), whatever this/these is/are, producing 'winners' and 'losers' in the situation. 8. Policy is never backed by local, national or international laws. 9. Forceful ejection does not result, in the long run in a war, between the 'enemies', in the future. 10.
