Definition: (usually - an eternity) (informal) A period of time that seems to be very long or to never end.

* All six elements would be in.


1. Specific and identifiable.

2. Measurable and/or assessable.

3. Programs, plans, etc. intended to be accomplished during period are not disturbed or disrupted as a direct result of seemingly endless time.

4. No unplanned loss arises from seeming endlessness.

5. A displacement activity cannot be engaged in during time. That is, nothing can make the period seem shorter (to emphasize).

6. Period, however long it lasts, will finally and 'slowly' come to an end.
