Purposeful (connect to #2). 2. Considered a necessity, to be apart or separated, in the opinion of the persons and/or things involved. 3. Basis or cause is known, even if not admitted or addressed. 4. No serious communication or contact, relationship or link is maintained between the 'actors', while situation lasts (to emphasize). 5. No blame is being apportioned between the parties involved at this time. That is, all concerned are moving on with their lives/existence. 6. Possibility of a reconciliation or 'reconnection' exists in the situation. 7. Lasts for a specific period of time.
