| ESTATE (2) Definition: (British English) An area of land with a lot of houses or factories of the same type on it. ______________________________________________________________________ * All twelve elements should be in. 1. Purposeful (to emphasize). 2. Considered necessary to have many and same type of houses or factories on land. 3. The structures are all solid: well-built, fully serviced, functional, etc. And these are not erected on a fault line! 4. Has strategic proximity to important locations for residents or to vital markets/buyers for products. 5. Easily accessible by road, rail, air, etc., as desired. 6. Facilities are complete and 'state of the art'. That is, place is appropriately well-equipped. In other words, it has schools, medical centres, fire stations, post offices, etc. therein. _____________________________________________________ STUNNING, SERENE, ORGANIZED AND BEAUTIFUL ... 7. Infrastructures are developed. That is, place has all-year round provision of water, power/electricity, sanitation, drainage, communication, etc. 8. Fenced and demarcated, safe and secured - with security patrols, CCTVs, guards, etc. 9. Has appropriate and adequate number of recreational facilities - swimming pool(s), mall(s), park(s), etc., as necessary. 10. The rents payable on the houses and the prices of products from factories are affordable. That is, area can serve purpose(s). 11. Well-run or managed. That is, the body responsible for the maintenance of place is effecient and effective. In other words, the area is clean and neat and suitable for human habitation or industrial production. 12. Neighbours, tenants, competitors, etc. are cooperative and the ambience or activities in area are not a source of damage or destruction to the ecosystem or the environment. ______________________________________________________________________ ...
