| ESCROW Definition: (mainly American) (legal) Escrow is money or property which is given to someone, but which is kept by another person until the first person has done a particular thing or met particular requirements. ______________________________________________________________________ * All eight elements should be in. 1. Purposeful to give another person custody. 2. Necessary to not give the owner immediate access/control. 3. Controller or who has custody will be decided by a court. 4. Court has a capacity to monitor the safety of cash or property. 5. Conditions or requirements can be met or can be fulfilled. 6. Guidelines on 'management' will be provided for the 'overseer'. 7.
