| ENTRAPMENT Definition: (law) The illegal act of tricking somebody into committing a crime so that they can be arrested for it. ______________________________________________________________________ * All eight elements would be in. 1. Purposeful and considered necessary by trickster. 2. Crime does not result in the death of a person or an animal. Or in the destruction of the ecosystem/environment. 3. Person committing the specific crime does not commit offence with a collaborator. 4. Appropriate or applicable punishment is meted out to criminal. 5. Proceed(s), profit(s) or gain(s) of crime is/are seized or confiscated (connect to #4). 6. The 'innocent' is not in a position to exert revenge for 'undue' suffering that will be encountered. 7. There is a gain for trickster, whatever this is, and act is never regretted or apologized for. 8. The legal trial will have no flaws.
